Q: What's your favorite book?
A: Ahh... That's not fair. It's like asking which kid is your favorite out of a family of 4,000. Although most of my viewing takes place upon the pages of plant organism study. Every so often Poppy will throw me a fantasy novel I'll enjoy.
Q: What drew you and Poppy together?
A: I can just barely remember. I believe I was 3. My father was away for a year and I was staying with close friends of his. So I met Poppy through family friends of them. I think I was drawn to her because she was very quiet, so I remember giving her a pixie stick and showing her my books and stuff. And we've been inseparable ever since.
Q: Do you have any childhood toys?
A: Mmm, none that I can remember. Some might still be stored away in my parent's closet, or handed down to my brother and sister. I'm really just not a materialistic person so I don't hold onto things.
Q: Do you like tacos?
A: Well, sure. They're alright.
Q: How far would you go to protect Poppy? Would you die for her?
A: Jeeze you make this sound all so traumatic. There aren't many people I'd
die for, but yes I'm pretty protective over Poppy. She has a habit of getting into trouble and I've more than once gotten myself scrapped up over getting her out of it.
Q: What branch of science interests you most; and what about it?
A: Plant biology. I've loved botany since I was a kid, so it's hard to explain why I like it so much. I guess I just love watching things grow and seeing how they change over time. It's always amazed me.
Q: If you were to choose any place to vacation, where would it be?
A: Australia, probably, since they have a lot of amazing rain forest sanctuaries I've heard about.
Q: Ever been in a play?
A: Well, yeah, during Freshman year I think. I don't really like acting but I'm pretty good at it.. except for the sappy scenes. I can't fake those very well.
Q: What did you want to be when you grew up, as a kid?
A: Lots of things. I wanted to be an archer like my dad for a while, but I couldn't keep up and fighting really wasn't my thing. Then I had a thing I wanted to be every other month. Mostly from the books I read. They were all adventurous things like mountain climbing and fossil excavator, but one time I actually think I wanted to be a rock star, believe it or not. That didn't last long since loud instruments hurt my ears..
Q: Do you play an instrument?
A: I can play the piano decently, but I forgot most of the songs I knew by heart when I got to high school. Same with the viola and the clarinet. Poppy has a few Ocarinas I know how to play a little. I can pick up a new one pretty well but music really isn't my thing.
Q: Favorite music?
A: Anything really. As long as it has a good tune and doesn't scream the whole time. Poppy gets me into most of the music I like.
Laugh All Week Long has to be a favorite, obviously.
Q: Favorite food and drink?
A: Food, mm. Probably Apple butter pork tenderloin, or lemon pepper chicken. Or anything drenched in lemon juice. I'm more of just a water drinker though. Water and juice.
Q: Ever had a girlfriend before?
A: Eh, not really. I'm kind of a nerd in that way.
Q: Ever kissed a girl before? (Poppy?)
A: Nooo. *curves brow* ...Except for that one time when we were kids but... we were just curious and that doesn't count.. yeah.
Q: If you could pick to do anything you wanted for a whole day (and I mean ANYTHING possible, no rules or limits!) what would you want to do?
A: Let's see. Visit the deepest, largest, most exotic cave in the world, explore it, and find something no one else has found before. Then have a huge team put up an artificial dome with controlled rainfall and sun exposure to create my own personal forest with whichever plant life I want at the time.
Or just an entire day without chores and annoying classmates would be just fine.
Q: What do you like best and worsted about Poppy?
A: The best
and worsted thing about Poppy is her friendly and positive attitude toward everything. But because she's so trusting and spontaneous, it gets her into so much trouble. Sometimes she even gets hurt, and I often wish she would grow up a little and take care of herself better so I wouldn't have to worry so much.
...Also she is a deadly tickler.. Err.
Q: Its 1:00 in the morning, and you can sleep because you're too deep in thought. What would you most likely be thinking about that would keep you up so late!? Get to sleep! Its a school night for crying out loud!
A: Well you kind of just described every night of my life. (Except the weekends, heheh.) I have insomnia and my mind is always racing because I fear sleep. I think about all sorts of things, even if they don't have to do with anything. How things work, why things are the way they are, the passing day, yadda yadda.
Q: What is one topic/discussion you and Poppy do NOT like talking about?
A: Um. Supernatural stuff. She believes her dead uncle haunts her sometimes but, it's hard for me to be sympathetic since I just don't... really believe in ghosts? I'm too practical I suppose.
Then there's the one topic about neutering Tips. Poppy thinks it's cruel and unnatural, but the Fellik is a darn hump-machine and can never relax around my Teinet, Spots.

Q: What's a favorite memory of yours?
A: Uh, how about when I went on a field trip in middle school to an indoor butterfly garden expo. That was amazing. I learned so much and it was so exciting when I was younger.

A: Well my family was moving because my dad lost another job and his friend Sparkalar was helping him out with that. I met Miles through Sparkalar, and the moment Miles offered me and Pixie-stick, we became best friends!~♥ And because of that I would do anything to protect Miles. D:
